SAMPLE email to your State Representative

Dear Representative ___________________,

Please vote NO on HB1284.

My name is ___________________ and I love Colorado craft beer. I need you to vote NO on HB1284, the Sale of Full Beer bill. This bill is putting my choice at risk because my favorite brewery is less likely to get vital shelf space if corporate chain stores control the Colorado beer market. If I can't find my favorite craft beer on the shelf, I can't buy it. Access to market is critical in the beer industry and because this bill will eventually result in hundreds of liquor stores closing, many small and medium-sized breweries will close because they will lose the opportunity to compete.

This bill is bad for Colorado. It will kill jobs and send my money to out-of-state corporations. The Colorado craft beer culture is more vibrant and diverse than that of any other state and this bill will change that. This bill means less selection and higher prices for Colorado beer lovers like me and I am upset.

Please vote NO on HB 1284.

Sincerely,
Name
Town
