About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's vision and supporting its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for executive leadership, including the development and implementation of the company's vision, mission, and strategy. This role involves leading the company's short-term and long-term strategy for financial stability, operational excellence, health transformation, and company culture. The Chief Medical Officer will also be tasked with building high-performing teams, ensuring the company's targets are met, and representing the organization in public forums and with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with Board Certification in a recognized specialty, at least 5-8 years' of experience at the director level or above in healthcare systems and/or managed care, and a strong background in program development and implementation. Experience working with a Medicaid population is preferred. The role requires a leader with extensive experience in public sector health services, significant knowledge of local systems of care, and the ability to navigate complex clinical and political environments. The Chief Medical Officer will be expected to have a strategic business planning, change management, and project management skills, and to demonstrate a commitment to the company's mission, vision, and values. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.
