“You get that really nice hop character–and you can have a few.”
This year’s Pinon Nut Brown Ale is named Cheyenne Canyon Ale since all proceeds will got to the preservation of North Cheyenne Canyon. Anyone who has been to North Cheyenne Canyon will know how beautiful it is. This beer honors that beauty appropriately.
This porter was good and refreshing. It was not overly strong and seemed nicely balanced between the malt flavors and hop bitterness.
“You mustn’t mind the tree monsters. Their bark is worse than their bite. Ha ha ha ha!”
This is a nice porter, I really like the smoke addition, it is not a dominant note, but is significant and adds lots of interesting complexity to this Porter.
